BARRY M ARK CENTRACCHIO

Barry’s experiences at Moses Brown have been dominated by two major influences: the Boarding
Department and the athletic program. As a four year boarder, Barry was elected to the newly
formed post of Boarding Representative to the Student Council. However, his vital contributions
in this function are hardly comparable to his athletic achievements as a member of the varsity
football, hockey, and baseball teams. Notoriously known by his opponents as a savage tackier and
forward, Barry provided Coaches Zeoli and Curtis with an amazing source of strength and
quickness. Yet Barry was not only a powerful ballplayer, but also a skillful and intelligent one.
His surprise bunts and hit-and-run plays on the baseball diamond were evidence of his athletic
finesse. In addition to his multitude of talents, Barry also earned the admiration of all of his team
mates, as he was one of the tri-captains of the undefeated football squad. The only question left of
Barry is: Which team will draft him first?

                                                                                     DAVID ALAN CHAPNICK

Dave Chapnick is known to all as the originator of the MB "Pit” Stop. Due to circumstances
beyond his control, Dave played first line on the varsity Lacrosse Team. In addition, his skiing and
boating talents have taken him from the mountains, to the valleys, to the oceans. Contrary to pop
ular belief, Dave’s occasional visits to Martin Luther King School have been for tutoring, not self-
improvement. Although Dave’s Chrysler will have rolled down the Pit for the last time, he will be
                                                          headed uphill.

                                                                                                                                           j

                                                                                          EDW ARD CHU

To describe Ed Chu merely as an excellent student would be inadequate. His talents are not con
fined to the classroom, for Ed has been a member of M B’s undefeated tennis squad for two sea
sons, and again, this winter has bolstered the MB squash team. Ed is also a superb violinist who
performs with both the MB Ragtime Band and the Rhode Island Youth Orchestra. Yet, success
has not spoiled Ed Chu, as his many friends will attest. His natural ease, his winning sense of
humor, and a down-to-earth view of life have earned him the friendship and admiration of all, and
insure his success in the future.
