AN TH O N Y W ALTER COFONE
Although Anthony may be small in stature, he is a big man on the MB campus. He can easily be
recognized behind the wheel of his famous 260-Z. W ait a minute, his red Firebird. Anthony is
also a very active member of the MB party scene. On Saturday nights he can usually be found in
the company of his close friends, Joey, Jorge, and Doug B. In the fall, Tony occupies himself as
statistician for the MB grid squad. During the colder months, his talents are turned towards bas
ketball, where he has been known to put the moves on the bigger players. Besides being athletic,
Tony is also an honor student, and has done a fine job as a student council member for the past
four years. He will long be remembered for his congenial attitude and nature.
STEPHEN MARK COLELLA
Although Steve outwardly looks like the exemplary M.B. youth, intelligent, hard working, Vice
President of the Student Senate, center on the soccer team, midi in lacrosse, member in good
standing of the Frank Duffy once-a-week party club, we all know that, way down deep, there s
another Colella, the real Colella. That’s right, we’ve seen it happen. His heroes, "The Beach Boys”
hit town and all of a sudden . . . Steve’s hair slicks back, the shades go on, the dungarees roll up
and someone lays sixty feet of rubber in an MG heading straight for the Civic Center. Here is
definite proof that Steve is a leader. He now has his own gang, in the form of the Fifties Group,
humming the chorus as he shouts out his rendition of Duke of Earl. Even if Steve does become a
doctor as he says he will, we can be sure of two things: first, there will be an MG on its way to the
last party before Dr. Steve has to operate and, second, his wife will have to put up with a chorus of
Barbaraaan every time her husband takes a shower.
JOSEPH JAMES COLELLO
From the backwoods of Rehoboth, Joe Colello came to Moses Brown in his freshman year. An
outstanding scholar, Joe has led the class with his superb grades, and has garnered his share of the
academic awards as well. He was also a determined athlete, holding opposing runners on first base
for the MB baseball team. His accomplishments both in and out of the classroom have won him
great respect among his peers, and he has proven himself an able leader as President of the class in
his Junior year and Vice-President in his senior year. The legacy of Joe’s amiable personality and
bushy mustache will leave an indelible standard of excellence at Moses Brown.
