EDMUND ALBERT PIRES
Big, quiet Eddie Pires has always loved cars. The day that he received his little spoils car was a day
filled with sunshine. When his car roof was vandalized, Ed nearly lost all control. However, once
the required repairs were accomplished, Ed returned to his usually good-natured ways. Generally
regarded by his mentors as a steady and calm student, he succeeded in getting through Doc’s pres
sure chamber for two years. Whenever not required to be in the classroom, Ed can be seen check
ing his car on Lloyd Avenue, along with other parking ban opposition. Eddie’s congenial and sub
dued approach to life is a promising gauge for the future.
JAMES ARMAND PROCACCIANTI
Upon his arrival at MB two years ago, Proc immediately earned starting assignments on both the
varsity soccer and baseball teams. He was a strong defenseman, and his presence was certainly a
comfort to goalie Doug Bonoff. But Proc’s real love was baseball, and his classy play at third base
was a major factor in the success of this year’s championship baseball team. However, Proc’s devo
tion to the MB nine was not restricted to his efforts on the field. He was determined to find a
method of raising money to finance the replacement of the baseball team’s archaic uniforms.
When Proc drives away from MB in June, with Alton Jr. beside him, MB will feel the loss of an
enthusiastic and dedicated athlete.
FORD SEDGW ICK RACKEMANN
Ford has spent a successful three years in the Moses Brown Boarding Department. Although pri
marily a five-day boarder, "Sedgewick” was an integral part of any boarding activity. A fine stu
dent, Ford had a special aptitude in the field of computers, and played a dominant role in the Com
puter Club. Ford’s abilities, coupled with his perseverance, will surely sustain him throughout his
collegiate career.
