                                                          Big, quiet  Eddie Pires has always loved cars.  The day that he received his little spoils car was a day
                                                          filled  with  sunshine.  When  his  car roof  was  vandalized,  Ed  nearly  lost  all  control.  However, once
                                                          the  required  repairs  were  accomplished,  Ed  returned  to  his  usually  good-natured  ways.  Generally
                                                          regarded by  his  mentors as a steady  and calm  student, he succeeded  in getting through  Doc’s pres­
                                                          sure chamber  for two years.  Whenever not  required  to be  in  the classroom,  Ed  can  be seen check­
                                                          ing his car on  Lloyd Avenue,  along with other parking ban opposition.  Eddie’s congenial and sub­
                                                          dued approach to life is a promising gauge for the future.









                                                                                 JAMES ARMAND PROCACCIANTI

                                                          Upon  his arrival  at  MB  two years  ago,  Proc  immediately earned  starting assignments on both  the
                                                          varsity  soccer  and  baseball  teams.  He  was  a  strong  defenseman,  and  his  presence  was  certainly  a
                                                          comfort  to goalie Doug  Bonoff.  But  Proc’s real  love was baseball, and  his classy play at third base
                                                          was a  major factor in  the success of  this year’s championship baseball  team.  However,  Proc’s devo­
                                                          tion  to  the  MB  nine  was  not  restricted  to  his  efforts  on  the  field.  He  was  determined  to  find  a
                                                          method  of  raising  money  to  finance  the  replacement  of  the  baseball  team’s  archaic  uniforms.
                                                          When  Proc drives away  from  MB in June, with  Alton Jr.  beside  him, MB  will  feel  the  loss of an
                                                          enthusiastic and dedicated athlete.









                                                                                  FORD SEDGW ICK  RACKEMANN

                                                          Ford  has  spent a  successful  three years  in  the  Moses  Brown  Boarding  Department.  Although pri­
                                                          marily  a  five-day  boarder,  "Sedgewick”  was  an  integral  part  of  any  boarding  activity.  A  fine  stu­
                                                          dent,  Ford had a special  aptitude in the field of computers, and played a dominant role in the Com­
                                                          puter Club.  Ford’s abilities, coupled with  his  perseverance, will  surely  sustain  him  throughout his
                                                          collegiate career.
