JOSEPH ALAN SASSON
Having spent two years in the boarding department, A1 broke out just in time for his senior year.
Often seen in the print shop (making fake I.D.’s), he is now, at age eighteen, quite legitimate. He
was never one to practice too hard; nevertheless, he was a winner on the wrestling team. An excel
lent student, Alan holds great respect among his classmates, and also, has incurred the wrath of
McGrath. He is a natural leader, as evidenced by his positions as Vice-President of the Junior Class
and Treasurer of the Senior Class. The high-pitched cry of "Hey Blood!” will conjure up vivid
memories of Alan’s vitality, eagerness, and roaring laughter.
"Failures often tell of how
hard they try —
Don’t just try, do it!”
RICHARD RANDOLPH SAW YER
A streak of blue and white glides up the ice. The flashy blond winds up and fires. The red light
goes on almost simultaneously. Captain Richard Sawyer tips his helmet to the "fan club;” he will
be with them later. Rich does not take his sports seriously. The secret to his success is that he
plays for enjoyment. And what game would be complete without post-game festivities? Deliveries
from Domino’s and other refreshments. Someone says it’s getting late. Through the gaiety we can
see Rich sitting back in an easy chair contentedly. Rich is sure to be a success in his Epic journey
through life, "walkin’ in rhythm” down the path of ultimate satisfaction.
