In order to have a happy memorable
year, a well organized student govern
ment is needed. We have many enjoy
able activities which are planned by our
Student Council. Members of this or
         ganization develop traits of depend
         ability and leadership which prepare
them for leadership roles in the com
         munity.
The annual Ring Ceremony is one of
         our cherished events. Each Delhaas
pupil anxiously awaits the time when he
may receive his class ring. To most, it
represents much more than just its
monetary value. It is a constant re
minder of successful completion of two
years of high school, and is a proud
symbol of devotion to his school.

As Edward Kaminski approaches the table to receive his ring, Bob Kasperitis, who has
already obtained his, descends. The young man at the foot of the stairs has the pleasant
                                                     job of assisting the girls.

Mr. McGoldrick reads the names of those juniors who are receiving their school rings. In this shot,
our photographer managed to capture not only our proud juniors, but also the newest addition to
                          Delhaas, our Hammond Organ.
