The National Honor Society,
Dcihaas Chapter, includes Juniors
and Seniors in its membership. It
was first organized in 1955-’56, and
has adopted a Constitution very
similar to the National Constitution.
In order to be eligible for mem
bership in our National Honor So
ciety, it is necessary to have four
specific qualifications: service to the
school, high scholarship rank, lead
ership, and a commendable charac
ter. When the Faculty Executive
Committee reviews records, all
qualifying areas are given equal
consideration.
Senior members receive a Na
tional Honor Society Key, and
junior members an engraved mem
bership card. Members who grad
uate in good standing become life
members.
To be offered a bid to member
ship in the National Honor Society
is the highest honor Delhaas can
bestow upon any of its students.
