                                                                                           After  the  eighth  period  bell  has
                                                                                         rung  and  the  halls  are  cleared,
                                                                                         laughter  and  sighs  of  relief  can
                                                                                         be  heard  drifting  from  the  Student
                                                                                         Lounge.  This  facility,  which  was
                                                                                         made  available  to  all  pupils,  aims
                                                                                         to  serve  and  please.  One  can  drop
                                                                                         in  at  the  Student  Lounge  and  be
                                                                                        sure  to  find  his  friends  enjoying
                                                                                        cokes,  pretzels,  chips,  and  even
                                                                                        hoagies.  The  lounge  is  managed
                                                                                        entirely by students under the direc­
                                                                                        tion  of  a  faculty  advisor.  The  pu­
                                                                                        pils  of  Delhaas  realize how  fortun­
                                                                                        ate  they  are  to  have  such  facilities,
                                                                                         and  take  full  advantage of the fine
                                                                                        service  and  restful  relaxation  of­
                                                                                        fered at the Student Lounge.



                                                                                        John  Santai,  one  of  our  seniors,  is  a
                                                                                        regular customer at the Student Lounge.
                                                                                        Like many others, he finds it a pleasant,
                                                                                        convenient meeting place.
