       Each  morning,  ciuring
     the  devotional  period,  the
     friendly  voice  of  station
     WDHS  informs  students
     and  faculty  of  the  latest
     happenings  around  Del-
     haas.  The  purposes  of  the
     program  are  to  broadcast
     current  news,  and  to  pub-
     lici2e  scholastic,  athletic,
     and  social  events.  An­
     nouncing is performed  en­
     tirely  by  students  who.are
     chosen  for  their  excep­
     tional  voice  qualities.  The
     original  purpose  of  this
     program  was  to  give  stu­
     dents  in  communication
     classes practical experience.
     Since its inception, WDHS
     has  grown  rapidly  to  be­
     come  one  of  the  most  im­
     portant  activities  at  Del-
     haas.





                                           Not  all  of  the  work  takes  place  before  the  "mike.” We were fortunate to catch  Karen Klebe who
                                           edits  the  announcements,  and  John  Talipsky  who  prepares  the  public  address  system  for  the
                                           morning  program.
