Delhaas auditorium was filled to capacity for two successive evenings when members of the
Southeastern District Band performed last Spring. Every high schcx>l in the area was proudly
represented.

Dr. Powell Middelton s superb ability and patience made possible the molding of talents of
one hundred-fifty individuals into an accomplished concert band. All this was achieved in a
two day rehearsal period.
We were honored by the presence of Horace Hutchison, President of the Southeastern District
P.M.E.A. He explained the objectives and intent of District events.
