I GREW UP IN SAN RAMON, COSTA RICA,

AS A MISSIONARY KID. I HEARD ABOUT

Clearwater Christian College my freshman year

in high school through a church group that my

family hosted. I heard about Coach Denny and

the sports program and decided that’s where I

would attend. Coach Denny emphasized char­

acter traits that my parents had taught me-dis-

cipline, thankfulness, positive attitude, and men­

tal toughness. CCC has impacted me in more

ways than I ever expected.

I CAME TO CLEARWATER BECAUSE CCC

HAS AN ROTC PROGRAM AND IS ACCRED-

ited. I was graduated from BJU, but the gradu­

ate schools in Ohio would not accept my degree.

My dad suggested I go into an ROTC program to

earn an accredited degree. I will graduate in De­

cember and will be commissioned as a Second

Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and

will become a logistics readiness officer.

MY EXPECTATION WHEN FCAME TO CCC

WAS THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A GOOD

Christian education which would better prepare

me to serve the Lord and would strengthen my

Christian faith. CCC has accomplished this task

and has had a great impact on my life. At this

point, I am not sure what the Lord has planned

for me after graduation; but whatever I do, I want

to do my best for Him.
