O’Dowd’s Science Department offers one of

the most diverse course lists out there. Students

have the opportunity to choose electives such

as AP Environmental Science, Sports

Medicine, Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology

and Earth Science. Immersions are also

available for students to experience science

outside of the classroom in rich locations such

as Montana and Baja, California. From

working in the Living Lab to saving the

leatherback sea turtles in Costa Rica, the

Science Department really offers some of the

greatest experiences to fortunate O’Dowd

students.
