The theme of the 1979 Founder’s Banquet

“One of the best Founder’s Banquets we’ve ever

had” were the words of Mr. Clarence Olson, the

Master of Ceremonies for the banquet held on March

19 of the 1979 school year. Although the crowd was

not quite as large as usual, the evening did prove to be

a successful one, including (besides a delicious

dinner) a musical presentation from the College

Choir and Chapel Singers, dedication of the

completed gymnasium-auditorium by Mr. George

Reynolds, visions of future projects presented by Dr.

Godwin, and a stirring message given by Dr. Steele.

We saw here men vitally concerned in the future of

Clearwater Christian College and striving toward its

growth.

“Uh, Scott, don’t look now, but there’s some weird creature staring at us.”
