The typical loveable farm couple “Is this the next coach leaving for Witchita?"
Any Yankee (and even a Southerner here and
there) knows what everyone's favorite activity
is, come fall: a hayride! Wishing to bring a little
culture to the campus, this year's senior class
farmers organized a hayride (though a little out
of season, being on March 24) for adventurous
souls going West. Pulled by 650 horsepower, the
Southern belles enjoyed travelling through
rivers, chasing cows, and exercising newfound
scarecrow abilities. The evening was complete
with campfire hot dogs, roasted marshmallows,
Allerest tablets, hilarious skits presented by the
senior class, and an interesting message from
the Word by Dr. Oliver. A touch of heroism was
added to the evening when Steve Hoffman
fortunately found a lost class ring. And we
know that the hay and the cow chips will be
remembered by all for a long, long time.
“Chuckwagon Slider here, on the scene with the grill."
David gives the double take to his own cover girl. Natalie Only the best smiles for the camera after a meal like that!
