CHOIR TOUR
an unforgettable experience
At 6:00 A.M. on April 10th, the CCC
Choir embarked on their twelve-day
adventure through Alabama,
Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, South
Carolina, and Florida. Each day
brought new experiences and
CLEAWAIER CURISilAN COLLEGE CHOIR excitement such as finding the most
comfortable way to sleep on the bus,
starting pillow fights but not finishing
them, and participating in mind-
boggling games of Uno and Rook. Or
what about listening to Dr. Godwin
read Winnie-the-Pooh over the
loudspeaker, preparing for a concert in
twenty minutes, and eating at
McDonald's for the thirtieth time!
Visits to Greenfield Village, a cheese
factory, Warther's Museum, the
Wright-Patterson Museum were
interesting ways to break up the
monotony of the long bus rides. The
best part of the tour, though, was the
Christian fellowship we experienced in
the homes of our hosts. As
ambassadors for Christ, the Choir was
constantly impressed with the
responsibility of being examples and
witnesses at all times. Relying on the
Lord to give us strength when were
were exhausted helped us to realize that
The purpose behind our travels a ministry
He alone deserves all
the honor, praise, and
glory for everything
that we as the Choir
accomplished.
