Graduation Facts
This was the 85th class to have graduated from Covington
Catholic High School. The first CCH class from 1929
graduated from Mother of God Church with a class of 32.
There were three sets of brothers in this class. Two sets were
part of triplets; the other set were twins. Of those triplet sets,
two were the co-salutatorians, and one was the class
president.
This was the first class to pledge a $15,000 donation to the
CCH Annual Appeal before leaving the doors of Covington
Catholic.
The Baccalaureate Ceremony origin is said to go back to
1432. The first Baccalaureate Ceremony commenced at
Oxford University. At that time each student was required to
deliver a sermon in Latin as part of his academic applications.
