How do twenty-three guys from all around the world
come together and learn to play as a team? Obstacles
must be overcome each year, and this season proved to
be no different. Besides the challenge of learning to be
come a team, they lost twelve individuals (seven of
which were starters) from last season. Although they
gained new valuable players, the obstacles did not be
come any easier. On top of losing so many players, the
soccer team also had the weather to combat. As a result
of an active hurricane season, the team felt the effects of
the “stormy weather.” Nevertheless, the soccer team
100 proved to be a strong force not easily shaken.
Beyond overcoming obstacles, the men played well
and “with class.” Dave Edwards said, “The players re
