Having a great swing is not all that is involved in a great

game of golf according to the colleges intercollegiate golf

team. The goals of the team were to maintain an out­

standing testimony for Christ and to win the NCCAA

Division II Regional and National Tournament. Going

into the season, the team had high expectations and stan­

dards. The chemistry of the team was unparalleled and

their unity was motivating during the tension of tourna­

ments. Being a very young team gave the coach a great

advantage: many of the players will be able to return next

112 year for another great season. The improved performance

will be an advantage when they return as veterans who

know the keys to keeping a low score. The coach recalled

one of his most memorable moments as seeing a nine foot

boa constrictor between holes 1 5 and 16 at the Regional

O Iournament. One never knows the surprises faced on the

golf course during a normal game of golf. In reference to
