Enthusiasm
Go, Cougars! Lets go, Cougars! Lets Go! Echoing
from the stage side of the gym, the seven-member team
cheerleading squad chanted cheers at the mens basket
ball home games. Regardless of the score or the lack of
enthusiasm of the crowd, the squad supported the mens
team through their wins and their losses. The teams
goal was to improve their skills and abilities to new lev
els by the end of the season. Practicing on a weekly ba
sis gave them the chance to perform tosses and stunts at
their highest potential.
114 Miss Sandra Draper assumed the responsibility of
being the team sponsor. “Coach Draper is a wonderful
blessing and has made a huge impact on my life. She
treats us with respect and has a very diligent heart,
which is good when the team is grumpy and tired and

the difficult stunts made cheering
fun,” Miss Draper said. “A huge
blessing is the support of many
CCC students. The requirements
for being apart of the team are a
willing heart, a teachable spirit, and
some knowledge of cheerleading. A
goal of this year was to excel in
cheerleading so we could be an out
