John Symonds The 1964-65 year was a very successful one for the French
President Club. The exchange program was continued with the Lycee
Stephen Morris Classique de Gargons in Menton, France. Both students, Harry
Vice-President Cole from M.B. and Noel Gremeret from Menton, adapted
Peter Rapelye quickly to their new environments and were well-liked. In
Secretary February, Mr. Gendron gave a lecture and showed films on
John Owen Southeast Asia. In March, the school was host to a meeting of
T re usurer the Junior Alliance. The members, French students from
Terrence Mahoney several schools in the area, were entertained by a French style
Program Chairman puppet show. The highlight of the French Club’s activities was
the extremely well-attended winter dance. M.B.’s own band,
the Dakotas, provided the music and entertainment.
