y September of 1973, there was a
definite need for a campus
bookstore. Through a series of
events Mr. Julie Keating was
recommended to manage its
operation. Because of her
willingness to serve wherever
needed, she later assumed a position in
the Business Office with accounts
receivable and then accounts payable,
where she presently serves. During her
tenure, Mrs. Keating has seen the
accounts department grow from a
manual bookkeeping system to a
completely computerized one.
Throughout the years she has displayed
the most desirable qualities that a
Christian worker can have:
dependability, an even temper, a
cooperative spirit, trustworthiness, and
capability.
Her years at the College have been a
family affair. She and her husband Walt
have seen three of their four children
graduate from the College. Walt also co
directed the construction of the men’s
residence hall and gymnasium.
For her years of dedicated and selfless
service, we lovingly dedicate the 1992
Causeway to Mrs. Julie Keating.
