Reaching OUT
ACROSSthe

reached out to others while
ministering in China.
Few things in a Christian's life can make a bigger impact than
participating in summer missions. "Getting to meet the people,
especially the believers there was a great experience for me," said
Breanna. "I got to go to some of their house churches, and I saw
how they worshipped. It amazed me how real their worship is, and
how much God means to them."
Missions trips force Christians to leave their comfortable sur
roundings and serve God in a place that is absolutely foreign to
them. Language can be a barrier for many. When speaking about
her experiences Breanna said, "We had a neat experience when we
were in the house church: we sang ’Amazing Grace.’ They sang in
Chinese while we sang in English. It was really cool."
If more of God's people would reach out and serve Christ, the
world could be changed. The fervent desire of Christians should
be to allow God to send us forth as laborers. Through missions
trips God can use anyone as workers in His harvest. Romans 10:15 B reanna fellowships with
states, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel Shelly, a Chinese believer.
"We were able to sit down
of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" one-on-one with her and
answer any questions that
she had. She mostly asked
about how we practice our
faith in America since we
are free to do so. It was a
blessing to minister one-
on-one with the Chinese
people."
