The 1978-79 Girls' Tennis Team ex­
perienced another rebuilding seoson this
year. With the addition of their new coach,
$ Mr. Jim Ellis, come new teaching and playing

techniques. The highlight of the girls' seoson
wos smashing orchrivol Delhoos, both times,
with 7-0 scores. The girls also ended the
season on o good note, beating Maple Point
in o close 4-3 gome, which hod to be con­
tinued over two doys because of darkness.
This yeor's team, led by Coptoins, Sue Jones,
Cindy Gorolski and Diono Aspell, with other
seniors Nancy Sokolove ond Louise Heocock,
was on improvement over lost year, but the
girls look forword to on even more rewarding
season next year.
