"Homework! Homework give me a break!" were the
growls of some students, most all, at some time of the year.
With computers in classrooms now, students were adapting
to the oncoming computer age. Learning was made a little
more interesting by having guest speakers in for some
journalism classes, or going on field trips as psychology
students did.
Getting a break from the five required classes was made
possible by a study hall. Students spent the time many
ways. Taking study halls could be put to good use by
urgently cramming for a Chemistry test for the next hour.
Those with nothing to do were found either with their heads
no where to be seen, snoring Z's for the next hour, or
gabbing and blabbing with their neighbors about the night
before.
Hoping to fill all the requirements and get that
homework done by midnight, students were “Study
Packed" throughout the year.
What lurks behind this door? Students found a change
In the library this year as they had a new security
system Installed.
Precision is the key, as senior Bob Lange helps junior Bryan Schertz
