Most students have at least one
study hall a day, but why? Some
would say because there wasn't
anything else tc take, but how could
there be with so many electives to
choose from?
Most students don't even do
homework in study hall. They would
probably tell you they write notes to
friends or just space off.
Why is that? As junior Cindy
Dueling put it, "The cafeteria isn't the
best setting to study in. I think it would
be better if there were individual
classrooms with study halls in them."
Shawn McGuire senior said,
"When you're in such a big room with
so many people you just automatical
ly look around to see what everyone
else is doing."
The reason some of these
students said they took a study hall
was to just get a break from classes
or to relax.
Before taking a study hall next
year look into electives offered and
see if there isn't something fun that will
also benefit you instead.
