            A fad flashback

                 Fashion, Style, Mode, Vogue, Fad,
Rage, Craze all describe the clothes
generally accepted by those who regard
            themselves as up-to-date and sophisticat
            ed.
Fashion varied, the year was 1983-84
but fashion was back to the 50's and 60's.
                 People were wearing penny loafers
and saddle shoes. Argyle was being seen
on socks and sweaters. On colder days
people were seen in cardigan sweaters or
trench coats known as 'P' coats.
                 Designer perfumes and colognes
were worn. A mixture of scents such as
             Ralph Lauren, Gloria Vanderbilt, Este
Lauder, Wild Musk, Polo, and Stetson hung
             in the halls.
                 Brylcreem and Beehives weren't
back, but people were getting wild with
their hair and doing their own things,
whether the look was dyed blue or totally
             bald.
In 30 years are people going to be
looking through this book, seeing what we
looked like, and thinking we did things
             weird?
