Choir adds a smile

             Strolling down the industrial arts
hallway the distant melody of the
        "Beach Boys Medley," and "Coming
In and Out of Your Life" could be
F reshmen Crystal Dykstra and Kevin
heard during both third and eighth Dusek prepare for the concert by
        periods. putting on their robes.
Open the doors to the choir room
and a new smiling face could be seen,
        accompanist Dirk Linder. In previous
        years Ralston accompanists have
been lost to pregnancy, but not to
worry in the future. Vocal music
instructor Dwaine Price said Ralston is
        very lucky to have professional
        accompanists, because many schools
        are not as fortunate.
The treble choir is made up
primarily of freshman girls and the
concert choir of freshman guys and
        sophomore girls.
             Performing at the spring, winter
and fall concerts the concert and
treble choirs packed in a number of
        "prize acts" this year.
"It's not just singing for the fun of
it, it's learning how to sing and do it
        rir>ht," said freshman Liesl Miller.
