"Hut-one, hut-two", "love", "volley", "pin him", "birdie",
"slide" were some of the verbals heard throughout the year
as athletes gave it their best and then a little extra.
From weight training and diets, to drills of practice and
more practice athletes learned they had to pay a price
to win. Exhausting long hours and working hard before and
after school became a regular routine as students
prepared for the games and events of the season. With
new and old strategies from new and old coaches, athletes
in all sports knew their work had paid off when they could
hear the crowd cheer as everything they practiced came
together,
It was an "Action Packed" year as routing fans gave their
enthusiasm and encouragement as the Rams brought
home victories even in defeat.
"Get ready. Get set, gol" This swimmer takes a
backward approach to swimming as he gets ready to
back stroke his way across the pool.
According to the football players the best place to yell for Ralston
spirit Is In the football end zone at the top of the big Ralston R.
After an exhausting cross country run after school at a track meet,
junior Therese Fitzpatrick takes a catnap.
