A new beginning
Getting reacquainted with old friends and teachers,
and getting to know the new, students made a pact
(agreement) with friends to get through the 180 days.
Though students packed up their homework, some
times seeming a ton, for their night's studies, they tried to
take time out from homework's drudgeries. Students took
time out by dating, going to school dances and parties,
or found time for a job to provide that jingle in their pockets
for the weekend's fun.
As the year raced by with grades jumping down and
then up, report cards came out with sometimes quite a
surprise!
Ram spirit could be seen everywhere as students
participated in pep rallies and cheered on their favorite
sports event from fall, winter, to spring.
As we followed our "Survival Pact" the never-ending
year seemed to total down to zero and before we knew
it the year had passed.
“Hey batter, batter! Swing!” A popular spring sport, baseball, was a crowd
pleaser for students who liked the outdoors.
It’s the creature of Ralston pool! No, a new elective for students this year was
a certified scuba diving class.
