Rebound that basketball! Freshman Jeanne

again.
Lincoln exciting for seniors
"Playing both varsity and j.v. basketball isn't that
bad, at times I wished I'd played on one team or the
other, but playing both was worth all the work," said
sophomore Roni Hyde. "And to win the district
championship and then go to Lincoln was really worth
the practice. I think though that going to Lincoln meant
more to the seniors because it was their last year of
playing." Practices "were hard, but they are for a
purpose," said sophomore Jackie Barr. "W e both had
fun playing on the two teams."
"I was disappointed with the team record. The
better athletes didn't go out for unknown reasons," said
freshman coach Joyce Roeschke. "Freshman Crystal
Dykstra is an excellent team leader, and will be an
excellent addition to the varsity team."
