Volume twenty-nine of the Causeway was published by
Taylor Publishing Company, 1550 Mockingbird Lane,
Dallas, Texas. Five hundred fifty copies were printed.
The smyth bound cover is four-color laminated
lithocote with super-blue foil. The theme logo and
dropped initials are set in Paisley Alternate 2.
“ Causeway” and the artwork in the Academic division
uses Ad Lib. The body copy is set in Malibu, Times
Roman, Garamond Condensed, Ballardvale, and Seville.
Headlines are Bodoni 2 Campanille, Universe Medium
Extra Condensed, American Typewriter, and Geneva 2
Ultra Condensed. Captions are set in Geneva, Geneva
Bold, American Typewriter, and Avant Garde. Page
numbers on the division pages are set in Caslon
Openface. Special headlines and initial caps were created
on Pagemaker and submitted as final artwork. Other
initial caps were generated as part of the typevision copy.
Subhead text uses Seville Italic, Times Roman Italic,
Garamond Condensed Italic, and Amazonia.
Various Chinese rice papers were separated for all four-
color backgrounds. Pop prints BD35BW, BD41BW, and
BD38BW were used for the various black-and-white
backgrounds. Graphics were prepared using PageMaker
and submitted as final artwork. Combination screens
were used to create the 4/C type on four-color pages.
