Although They Find It
Hard To Get Involved,
They Do It Anyway
rom the day they first walk on campus,
students are classified in one of two major
groups: those who live on campus, and those
who live off campus. These off campus students
are automatically labeled commuters.

A commuter's life is quite different from a
resident's life. Those who have seen both sides
describe the dissimilarities best. ‘'Living off cam-

pus, we have to use our cars as lockers,” says
Melanie Howton. "We can't go back to the room

they go home at night, they can't be as active on
