College Bills, Students
Seek Off-Campus

11 college students are poor. Even
though this is generally true, students have
found that they don't have to be. Some go out
into the community and find jobs. These jobs not
only help to meet the students’ financial needs,

but they also provide valuable experience and l,j

Beth Dilger found a job at Holiday Inn as a
Guest Services Representative. Her duties in
cluded registering and checking out guests, an
swering the telephone, taking reservations, and
running the airport van service. Beth said. “My
job gives me confidence and makes me feel
professional. This job was profitable for me not
only because of the money but because I would
like to be in hotel management.”
Scott Edds, an employee of State Farm In
surance, said the Lord helped him find his job, W
and he now knows he wants to sell insurance V w orking at Service
