Commencement In Stadium
Commencement exercises were Tuesday evening, May 31, at
8 p.m. As another "first" in the school's history, the ceremony
was held out of doors in the football stadium.
Seniors marched in to "Pomp and Circumstance"'played by
the Ralston High School Band, which also played the recessional,
"War March of Priests" from "Athalia."
The invocation and benediction were offered by the Reverend
John Fritzmeier of Community Church.
F o l l o w i n g Robert Fritzmeier's Salutatory, "Image of a
Teacher," a vocal selection was presented by Linda Murray.
Short speeches were given by Charlene Wendt and Bruce Gulliver.
Charlene, Senior Class President, derived her topic, "Young Man
and the Sea," from the class motto. Student Council President
Bruce addressed the crowd with "Obstacles to Success." Linda Gabriel
