Senior Night
Senior Night, May 26, 1966, featured a battle of the sexes which
both sides claimed to have won. The event was opened by the Senior
girls who sang paraphrased songs, "We Are the Senior Girls," "I'm
a Juvenile Delinquent," "Just You Wait, Senior Fellows," and "Got
Along Without You Before We Met You." Boys retaliated with
personalized r e n d i t i o n s of "Satisfaction," "Gloria," and other
'popular' songs. After a group presentation of "Let's Get Together,"
the Class of '66 sang "May You Always" and presented the sheet
music, signed by each class member, to Mr. Neidl, class sponsor, to
whom the song was dedicated.
Other features of the program included the class prophecy, read
by Carol Anderson, Karen Gatewood, Noreen Geason and Vicki
Swanson, and the class will and testament, read by Don Walker and
Rich Zarkowski.
A karate demonstration was presented by none other than RHS's
own black-beltsmen Mike O'Connor and George Van Wey. Michaela Pettinger
