Working at a Christian camp for the first
time, Thresa Jenkins found the job at
Camp Pamadeva in Hanover, PA, a
challenge. “ Although it was an adjustment,
it also was a time of spiritual and
emotional growth. The number one lesson
I learned over the summer at camp was

Knowing that I was making an impact on
my girls’ lives made working at camp
extremely important to me. I treasured
the role of leader and friend that I held. I
can think of no better way to spend the
summer.” Junior Jessica Schenkel worked
at Camp Ironwood in Newberry Springs,
California.

Camp was an awesome experience. I got
to develop close friendships not only with
my fellow counselors, but also with the
children.” Senior Patience Orr worked at
Camp Gilead in Polk City, FL, along with
graduates Michelle Griffin, Dan McKean,
Kelly Grim, and current students Richard
Rossiter and Leona Sanford.
