One of the favorite contests at the annual
picnic is guessing the pieces of candy in a
jar. Many find this a challenge. Shonn
Brown gives his best shot at guessing the
number; but with a guess of 600, Cindy
Dilger takes the 60 I pieces of candy back
to the residence hall with her.
Why bother chewing? Becky Hilton and
Lisa Norman devour watermelon, seeds
and all. Becky was strong all the way but
couldn’t quite overcome the winner,
Taleen Nevokshonoff. When asked where
she learned to eat so fast, Taleen replied,
“ I don’t know. I’d never done it before. I
hadn’t had watermelon all summer, and I
was hungry.”
