Showing Their True
Colors by Their
INVOLVEMENT
The freshman class is one of the most involved
groups on campus. College life is new and exciting to
most young people. It is usually their first time living
away from home and they want to immerse them
selves as much as possible in this NEW life.
Over twenty men and women participated in our
intercollegiate sports program alone. Many were
recruited by the coaches when they visited schools.
Some arrived at try-outs and made the cuts. Many
more freshmen played in the Greek's intramural
program making it a great success. Their involvement
in the clubs has provided new opportunities for
service and activities for some of these organizations.
There has been a renewed interest in forming debate
teams; future plans may involve the possibility of
intercollegiate competition.
First year students enjoy attending the games and
also play a significant role in cheering the teams on

to viclory. Besides having three freshmen cheer . ■ ..
leaders and several freshmen “ Animals” (our male
spirit squad), the enthusiastic freshmen in the stands
play a vital part.
The freshmen class is filled with hard-working,
high-spirited young people who are on fire for God
and willing to do all for His glory. — Kevin Me Evoy
