"There is no way I could handle it, she's (Jenny) got a huge
schedule ..
Senior Heather Shimerdla
Heather Shimerdla: "I don't
have any of the basic classes, like
math or social studies. I have
foods, photography, car care,
study hall, gym, basically just
the classes I need to graduate."
Jenny Dolphin: "I have a lot of
deadlines, but it's probably the
same as it will be next year. I've
heard from other people who
have taken a schedule similar to
mine, and they said that college
was almost easier, so I think it's
prepared me so I've kept that in
mind all year." Shimerdla: "I
have not had any homework."
Dolphin: "On an average night
not very much, but it seems at
the end of the quarter, all of my
papers are due on the same day.
That was a lot of stress. Most of
my homework has been reading
and writing about what I've
read." Shimerdla: "I got straight
A's this year, and that looks pretty
good, but when you look at my
classes, it doesn't look like I had
to work that hard. Other than
that it doesn't bother me at all."
Dolphin: "I think of it as a chal
lenge. Sometimes I wonder why
I did it, but I look back and think
it'll be okay." Shimerdla: "I'm
worried that I'm not going to be
used to the homework. This year
I got out of doing any work but
next year I'm going to be piled
with it." Graduation require
ments? Dolphin: "I think I have
at least 300 (credits). I don't think
there should be any more be
cause it gives you the freedom to
take electives. I think that people
should take more than 200 but
not in specific areas. I special
ized in the basics." Shimerdla:
"My friends all said, it's our se
nior year, just sit back and relax."
Dolphin: "A lot of my friends
are in one or two of my classes
with me so they have some of the
stress ... Shimerdla: "There is
no way I could handle it, she's
(Jenny) got a huge schedule. It's
just too hard for me, too much
work."
