Seniors
McManigal-Sievers
"I sort of saw it there this summer and I fell in love with her."
-Senior Jake Woodard
Susie Belle will be a memo
rable moment, what was the
first thing that popped into your
mind as you drove up and saw
her towering above the
school? Ryan Lombardo: "We
came to school
early just to see it."
Jenny Winnike:
"That was funny,
it was like totally
weird driving up
and there was this
huge lady in the parking lot."
Lombardo: "I did the banner."
Good senior prank?
Lombardo: "Definitely!" Jake
Woodard: "Thebest." Winnike:
"I mean nothing like that has ever
been done . . Lombardo: " ...
everyone was talking about it."
Woodard: "It was
a positive thing . ..
there was a posi
tive banner."
Lombardo: "We
won the football
game." Where did —
you get the idea?
Woodard: "I sort of saw it there
this summer and 1 fell in love
with her." Lombardo: "Well,
they just asked me like a week
before we did it. About five
people backed down at the last
minute so we had to do it with
three guys." Woodard: "Ten
people were supposed to show
up, and then four showed up,
and one went home . . . we just
had to go for it." Lombardo: "It
was heavier than we thought,
that's why it got damaged.
Woodard: I didn't think we'd
get that far, I didn't think we'd
ever get her out of the trailer."
Did you get in trouble?
Lombardo: "I got grounded for
three weeks . . . we had to pay
$225 bucks; we raised about a
hundred and some odd dollars.
Usually when you collect, you
get nickels and pennies but like
people were giving dollars." Was
it worth it? Lombardo: "Every eniors Alan Eberle and Cathy Fuchs turned Susie Belle

don't think so."
