"It brings back some old memories of things that I used to participate
in also. I think it's good to bring in a variety of people to do these type
of things. I enjoyed that pep rally more than some of them, because
there was a variety of people involved and I think doing some dumb
things like that is always good. I like it as an administrator because
it's good for students to see me do something different besides
disciplinarian . . . Mr. Mosser did a lot with the pep rally, as far as
organizing that skit and getting the volunteers. Even as we sat in the
lunchroom we brainstormed . . . So once you get some people
involved, things keep growing . . . I'm a strong believer in that
especially football and basketball, if they have a strong program it
does a lot for school spirit. . Just like the number of people who got
down to state... always fun to get out of school and this student body
did a great job of supporting the basketball team. It gives kids
something to talk about and some pride. It was great before we even
got to state with the number of people going to season games, because
instead of students saying, what's going on on Friday night... most
were responding, I'm going to the basketball game."
