it showed school spirit
■Kyle Marek on the Homecoming Pep Rally
jumping contest.
On being champion three years in a row:
Marek: "Again, Again, Again. It's sweet, showed school
spirit. It helps me stretch. 1 think the hair did the whole
part of it and the tongue was part of it (winning)." (Why
is your tongue out?) "Because I'm weird . . . I think the
pep rally excited people for the game, but the weather
slowed everybody down." (How are you able to do all
these jumps?) "God's gift. I just practiced on them when
I was younger with the girls. When like Megan
Munstermann and all them were in cheerleading our
freshman year and they used to do them, I learned to do
them then ... I was glad to do it, come back and keep my
title forever. It was fun, it showed school spirit and it
makes a fool out of ya. They try to, the cheerleaders do. I
can even do the jumps better than they do! Much BET
TER!"
