As we close the INSIDE STORY, we

are reminded that the Bible instructs us to be passionate about
knowing, loving, and serving the Lord. Philippians 1:9 states, ++
“And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more
in knowledge and in all judgment.’1 Throughout God’s Word

we are challenged to be passionate about our holiness (I Peter

1:15, 16), our service to other believers (II Corinthians 12:15),
and our desire to evangelize the lost (Matthew 28:19, 20). WAAJa H
If we combine these characteristics, we can call it “pas- tfat
sionate humility.” We are continually fighting against the phi

losophy of the world that focuses on self-indulgence and per
sonal fulfillment. We need to be infused with the message that
individual needs and desires must be subject to the demands of
the “Cause of Christ.” When we focus our attention on Christ

and passionately pursue Him, we quickly see that there is noth- , * ,
ing to glory in except the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ.
