PRAYER IS ALWAYS A VITAL
part to the basketball program.
Before one of the games at
nationals, the team bows in
prayer, knowing that everything
done on the court should give
honor and glory to God.
CONSISTENCY AT THE FREE
throw line proved to be a great
asset throughout the season for
John Carver. When asked about
his four years on the team, John
said, “Playing basketball for CCC
has been a rewarding experi
ence. Coach Wubbena has im
pacted my life significantly. Per
haps the most exciting times for
me were the last two years be
cause I was able to play with my
brother Christopher. All of the
road trips together, warming up
before every game, and just be
ing on the same team was a
highlight. We made memories I
will never forget. I will miss not
playing for the Cougars!”
ENJOYING THE EVENING
activities at Nationals, Jeff
Wahlberg, Mike Hudson, and
Ryan Rockefeller squeeze into a
toddler carousel at Celebration
Station. All three freshmen on
the team had considerable play
ing time and will be vital to the
team next year.
