                                           If  you  are  looking  for  enlightment  on
                                         any  subject  —   from  politics  to  the  virtues  of
                                         playing  tiddly  winks  with  manhole  covers
                                         —   then  Big  A1  is  just  the  guy  to  see.  M.L.H.,
                                         himself,  calls  special  attention  to  Al’s  ora­
                                         tory  talents,  and  A1  holds  the  undisputed
                                         title  of  "The  Last  of  the  Red  Hot  Busy  B’s,”
                                         despite  the  rough  competition.  But  rather
                                         than  resting  on  his  laurels,  A1  has  distin­
                                         guished  himself  on  the  swimming  team.  As
                                         for  school  work,  easy-going  A1  doesn’t  need
                                         to  worry  about  killing  himself  from  over­
                                         exertion.  Above  all  his  other  achievements,
                                         AI  will  be  most  remembered  for  his  im­
                                         portant  contributions  to  the  Delphian  meet­
                                         ings,  even  though  his  brainstorms  would
                                         not  be  fully  appreciated  if  publicized.

                                                    Bob  is  a  five-day  boarder;  every  free  mo­
                                                  ment  of  his  weekend  finds  him  at  a  friend’s
                                                  house  in  East  Providence.  He's  got  a  pretty
                                                  good  relationship  going  there,  too:  free
                                                  food,  homey  atmosphere,  and  companion­
                                                  ship.  The  last  is  what  his  fellow  boarders
                                                 envy.  A  fine  Spanish  student,  Bob’s  success
                                                 in  the  subject  lies  in  his  resemblance  to  the
                                                  instructor.  What  is  it  the  two  are  called?
                                                 Gordo?  Chico?  Spanish  is  probably  Bob’s
                                                 favorite  class;  it  is  the  one  he  has  the  most
                                                 fun  recounting  later  (undoubtedly  because
                                                 of  the  teacher’s  witty  jokes).  These  ivied
                                                 walls  will  note  a  change  when  old  "Chamb”
                                                 leaves.  It  will  be  a  long  time  before  another
                                                 student  with  Bob’s  ability  at  satire  comes
