David Abbott, known familiarly as "D.
Fox", was more or less the comedian of the
boarding department. His wit, comic appeal,
                                  and general scatter-brained activities constant
ly kept his corridor in hysterics and certain
masters in hysteria. Nobody was ever at a
loss for amusement when Dave was around.
His philosophy, "never do today what you
can put off until tomorrow", was always
staunchly carried out, as exemplified by his
greatest achievement — the Cow’s Tail
Award of English VI. Even so, the school
will be sorry, we’re sure, to lose the "Fox”,
as will his classmates, for, aside from being
popular and easy to get along with, he was
unique in being the only fox with false
                                  teeth ever to attend M.B.

                                                              51 Angell Street, Taunton, Mass.

                                            French Club.

FORM VI: Cross Country, Hockey, Letter in Baseball, Vice President of
Glee Club, Secretary-Treasurer of House Council.

Hank Alves, with his hazel eyes, winsome
smile and innocent looks which have charm
ed many a female, often packs his bags for
emergency trips to visit his dying grand
mother in Springfield. It seems, however,
that Hank’s grandmother is sixteen years
old and has blonde hair. (But don’t tell the
Doc.) Many have sworn that Hank’s shin
ing smile has stretched from ear to ear, but
we can’t vouch for it. Although Hank fights
violently to obtain permission to go to
church to confess his smoking, the effect is
not lasting, for the incessant smell which
hangs over him is not difficult to identify.
Thus, Hank's philosophy seems to be "Eat,
                                          Drink, and Be Merry.”
