Mac stands out as a spirited member of
the Class of ’64. He has taken an active
interest in class affairs, as exemplified by his
own attempt at a "Capture the Carrels Con
stitution.” Many an opinion concerning our
illustrious faculty has come from Al, and
he sincerely (Ha! Ha!) appreciates the
marks of Messrs. Sulloway and Herman.
For some strange reason, however, he mut
ters after every report card. Physics is Mac’s
favorite class, for there his bridge game
gets into good shape. Perhaps the fact that
he is a walking sports encyclopedia is Mac’s
best known characteristic. Al has also dem
onstrated his athletic ability on the soccer
field and basketball court. In short, Mac is
the type of guy who will be an appreciated
                                           kid on any campus.

Phil is a fantastic student because he
studies hard whenever he can find the right
conditions, which is rarely. Study halls are
too noisy, and he is usually too busy having
fun during night study hours. But comes an
important exam, and Phil is always found
                                   cramming at 4 :0 0 A.M. Phil was known
as the hatchet man of the soccer team; be
fore the faculty game, he persistently asked
to play opposite Whit. Phil has also proved
himself an accomplished artist with his work
on the Delphian posters (which saved
Uncle Al) and with his work on a certain
P.C.D. manager. In future years he will un
doubtedly continue to make trouble, study
once in .a while, and have fun.
