Butch has made many friends in his five
years at Moses Brown, not the least of whom
has the rather conspicuous initials K.B.O.
Among Bob’s other friends is a certain wench
in a Comet wagon, with whom he could be
found talking on Lloyd Avenue until 8:14!A
A.M. Because of his lightning speed, he
always made it to chapel on time. Speaking
of running, Bob, a regular on the track team,
always showed up at practice, puffing. Lucky?
In fact, Bob seems to have an affinity for
station wagons. It was a good thing that
tree stepped into his way or he might still
be rolling down Freeman Parkway. Did you
find the brake, Bob? Some of his most out
standing memories at Moses Brown, Bob
says, are rides to the armory, a certain non-
academic trip to Yale, and a mysterious
smokey cloud which seems to hang over him
incessantly. Among Bob’s more serious con
tributions to the school are his rich bass
voice (it’s rumored he once offered L.G.D.
lessons), and his invaluable presence at all
S.A.C. and U. N. Club meetings. Most of
all, we’ll remember those immortal words,
"GO M ET!”

Mark loves to argue. If you say that the
Constitution is the law of the land, he’ll dis
agree and tell you that it’s a boat. Mark was
our class’s representative to Menton where,
much to Dudley’s dismay, he became quite an
expert on French politics, especially Commu
nist propaganda. This fall Mark was an im
portant member of the soccer team, but he
didn’t get a letter because — get this — he
hadn't been on the squad for two years in a
row. After this little gem by some loyal rule-
followers, Mark became an iconoclast, seeking
to upset such Moses Brown institutions as the
Mosaic (by persuading Licht to go to Florida
at deadline time) and Fergy (by threating to
take over Physics class). But Mark uses such
diversions only to conceal his high class
rank and his A rating from Harvard, where
for the next few years he’ll be found arguing
that Harvard Square isn’t square, and et
cetera.
