Rings Sell

P erhaps the most evident display
of junior class spirit was the
purchase of class rings by more
than eighty percent of all eleventh
graders. That a sixteen-year-old should
be willing to sacrifice several hundred
dollars for a token of an abstract
concept certainly demonstrated the
inseparable unity of the Class of 1986.

Following their Homecoming banner, spirited
juniors cheer for their hero, Julius Caesar.
Supported by the toga-clad juniors, the banner
came in a close second, winning $25 for the class.
