Sweet Smell of Success

n addition to providing funds for future

e n d eavors, various activities of the
Sophomore Class enriched the overall
school year. Winning the Homecoming
Banner Contest was a great start to a
"banner” year. "I was really proud to be a
part of the class when we won that silver
cup!" declared Steven Schuller, referring to
the trophy presented to the class with the
winning banner. Selling pretzels was another
money-making venture. "We had a good time
and sold hundreds of pretzels,” assured John
Abdo, in charge of this activity. An overnight
trip to Busch Gardens and Wet'n’Wild
highlighted those lazy, hazy days of spring.
Nick McMillan summed it up best: "This has
been the greatest year ever!”
