The freshman cheer­
leaders had a terrific year.
At the Metro competition,
the squad tried their best,
but unfortunately didn't
place. But the River Cit­
ies competition was a dif­
ferent story, with the
squad placing 1st in the
non-varsity stunting divi­
sion. Amy Maliszewski
said, "After Metro, there
were some tears shed, but
we pulled ourselves to­
gether as a team and con­
centrated on RCC where
we nailed all of our stunts
and did really well. That
